Story

Sivaji (Mohan Babu) arrives at Mumbai to do any job and earn money to support his family, which badly needs money. He tells them that he is going to USA to earn dollars. He loses his bag the moment he arrives in the city of dreams. There he meets his old time pal Kuppiganthula Ramesh (Ramesh), whose profession includes cheating people.
Ramesh induces Sivaji to share his cheating profession to make living. Along with Pedda Koteswara Rao (Kota Srinivasa Rao) and Cheecha (Radhika Chowdary) they execute a bank robbery. Cheecha makes an anonymous call to police and gets Pedda Koteswara Rao arrested. But, Pedda Koteswara Rao puts all the money in the locker of another bank. Pedda Koteswara Rao is arrested and nobody has a clue about where the money is put up.
There is Raja garu and his wife (Balayya and Sujatha), a blind old couple, who are living in Mumbai. They are very rich Telugu couple. They lost their eyesight, son and daughter-in-law in an accident. They have a grand son Bujji (whom they have not seen for at least 10 years), who is studying in USA.
Whenever Rajagaru gets a mail from USA, they take the help of a pawnwala to read it. This time, they get a telegram (actually the postman can read the telegram at the time of handing over it). Since pawnwala does not know English, he asks Ramesh to read out what is written in the telegram. It is written that Bujji would be touching Mumbai in six months. But Ramesh reads out that Bujji would be coming in a day.
Ramesh introduces Sivaji as Bujji to the old couple. But in the process Ramesh's body and Sivaji's voice gets fixed as Bujji. The old couple has the uncanny ability of remembering the voice and the body-touch of any person they meet. Hence Ramesh and Sivaji dupe the old couple and waits for the right occasion to steal money. In the process, they lie that Bujji has a girl friend called Radhika Rani back in USA. Radhika Rani (Gracy Singh) arrives from nowhere at the residence of Raja garu. She keeps on thwarting the plans of Ramesh and Sivaji. Later on she reveals that Bujji is no more and she is a friend of Bujji. She comes to Mumbai to tell the bad news to Raja garu. After seeing the happiness (given by Ramesh and Sivaji) of Raja garu, she decides not to tell the truth. Will the old couple find out that truth and what happens to stolen money from the bank forms the rest of the story.
