Story

Ram (Kamal Hassan), a pilot by profession, falls in love with Mythili (Simran) and marries her. Ram is notoriously known for his flings with various girls. But he is a changed man after marriage. Mythili misunderstands Ram in a strange situation and she returns to her parents place.
Ram has four south Indian buddies who are his childhood friends. These caring friends are sad that Ram is separated from his wife. They wanted to cheer up Ram on his birthday with a surprise. They take him to a hotel and Ram is introduced to Maragathavalli alias Maggy (Ramya Krishna), a high-class call girl. But in the process, it's found that Maggy is dead. The frightened-five packs that body and throws it into a river.
The rest of the movie is dealt with how this five-some create laugh riot with their innocuously funny acts.
